CraneWIN CRANE STABILITY CALCULATION PROGRAM

Circle diagram

CraneWIN stability calculation gives out a circle diagram in 360 degrees: Chosen stability factor n with different crane turning angles.

A straight line from the center of the circle to the direction in which the crane is turned. The stability factor to that direction. a=0° straight forwards, a=90° straight angle to side, a=180° straight backwards.

The stability factors are shown in the form of different sized circles. The center of these circles is the cranes slewing center. The circle with the biggest radius stands for the stability factor n=1.8 and the smaller circles stand for stability factors : 1.6 , 1.4 , 1.2 , 1.0 , 0.8 . The chosen critical stability factor will show at screen in different color from the others. The figure is above the diagram at the toolbox.

In the picture there are two stability factors as n-curves. One for each tilting line

 
 

This example curve shows, for example that Trw90000.gif= 20Trw90001.gif diagonally forwards; n-factor is 1,24. Straight to side, Trw90000.gif= 90Trw90001.gif; n-factor is 1,4. ( 0Trw90001.gifTrw90002.gif straight forwards )

The most critical direction diagonally backwards is, about Trw90000.gif= 110Trw90001.gif, n-factor is 1.25 .

The text on screen shows us that the n-factor is smaller than 1,4 when Trw90000.gif-is between 89Trw90001.gif ...and...133Trw90001.gif and when Trw90000.gif-is between 0Trw90001.gif ...and... 47Trw90001.gif.

If n-factor is smaller than 1,4 the program calculates also the decreased load when the n-factor is 1,4.

CraneWIN makes the stability calculation to all directions round the vehicle.
